The Care Shop

Helping people in the local community for over 20 years

The Care Shop is a Christian charity shop selling a range of second hand items to raise money for the homeless. Our newly refurbished, double-fronted shop is located on Alexandra Road in Cleethorpes. We also provide furniture to families and people in need in the local community.

The shop has been open for 20 years and over that time £250,000 worth of furniture has been donated. The Care Shop also takes in clothing, bric-a-brac, electrical goods, toys, games and books. Any electrical goods donated are tested by a professional electrician for safety. There is a real community feel to the Care Shop as all proceeds are put back into the local community, helping hundreds of individuals and families over the years.

The charity itself trains and supports the less fortunate in the area giving them a place to stay and a job in the shop. There are trained support workers across the charity and they are always looking for volunteers.

Unwanted clothing, household goods and furniture is urgently needed.
