    School children in North East Lincolnshire have joined forces with road safety officers to crack down on incidents of poor driving outside their schools. Six pupils from three of the area's schools have been appointed junior road safety officers meaning that they drive forward initiatives in a bid to improve safety in and around their schools.

    A brand new lunchtime club at Cleethorpes Academy is proving successful, with more budding Chess players joining each week. The Chess Club is currently open to all Key Stage 4 students and is so popular that league tables are already being created.
