Lovely Sunday dinner
I don't eat much at the Punchbowl as you sometimes forget that it's there! It's nice to go on a summery day, as you over look the beach, but on a wintery, cold, blustery day there's nothing worse for me than going down the seafront. Other than that though, the sunday dinner we had (and dessert) was lovely! I've never tried the normal menu, but i can presume it will just be as good quality as the Sunday dinners, and i've never heard a bad report!

Great Hidden gem
Love this place.. great location over looking straight onto the beach... parking is excellent.. food is wonderful and very well priced.. shame the boy racers spoil the sea front a little and everything around it is run down.. but a great place

Brilliant value
The meal deal at the punch bowl is excellent value for money. There is so much to choose from off the menu that you are spoilt for choice! The atmosphere is very relaxed and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. There is a pool table and games for the kids.

All ages welcome and excellent food
The menu in the Punch Bowl always ceases to amaze me - always really nice home cooked food!! They have a superb deal which is two meals for two peopel for £13.99 which includes all your favourites and enables you to have a starter and a main or a main and a pudding. All ages are welsome and there are facilities to suit all ages too. Their staff are always very helpful and friendly, going beyond the call of duty to make sure you enjoy your meal. We recently went for an 83rd birthday meal which had ages ranging from 16 - 83 and it was enjoyed by all.
