Just so i am able to set the record straight about harvey's it is a well thought out establishment aimed at the mature generation in Cleethorpes a very welcoming place with pleasant staff. The prices are not extortionate like some may think it's premium draft so it will be slightly more than you would pay for carling or john smiths neither of which are served there, but £2.90 for a vodka and mixer (this being premium vodka 40%) i think is pretty good also all bottles are only £3 im almost certain you cant get a desperados or sol cheaper else where, they provide a safe friendly atmosphere somewhere nice to go were you don't have to shout at the person next to you because its too loud. The cocktails are fantastic with full measures none of this drop here drop there rubbish at £4.95 for basically a triple drink i don't see that expensive. Its open during the day for a wide variety of teas and coffee or something a little stronger also free WiFi available so before you all slate it give it a chance you never know you may even like it and for the record staff DO get their tips every night

What form of establishment is this then. A clothes shop, domestic appliances or a cafe. I'd sooner see another Humphries. It's a slog finding stuff for girly.

I wonder how much a pint of Worthy or Tetley will cost? John Smiths in the Studio is only £2.

Good luck to all concerned, hope it's a great success. Part of me wonders how long, though, it will before someone gets clobbered with a magnum of bolly or scarred by an unfortunate plate of Beluga. It is Cleethorpes after all, however many vol au vents and crabsticks you chuck at it.

Half of the people that drag their knuckles down to Meggies for a skinful and a dust up, will be well out of their depth when they realise Champers isn't a designer lager and truffles aren't coconut flavoured ferrero roche. Still it should empty the streets of all those orange wannabe TOWIE spare parts that waddle between the pubs with their size 20 backsides shoehorned into size 16 mini skirts.

So good luck to all concerned and let's hope the discerning market in the area is big enough to sustain your business. It makes a refreshing and very welcome change to the usual Meggies watering 'holes'. Me. I'll be in the pub next door berrgut threatening to launch my shirt buttons across the Humber and wearing enough £5 aftershave to attract wildlife. Head shaved , fat belly, bottle of WKD, fake tan and knuckleduster.

Well, it helps to fit in.
