NORTH East Lincolnshire Council has launched an online refuse and recycling collection calendar to help residents keep on top of their household waste.

The calendar, which is available on the homepage of the council's website, allows residents to enter their postcode and house number to find out when their next waste and recycling collection is due to take place.
The authority also has a dedicated "waste hotline", which residents without internet access can call to check their collection dates.
Councillor Alex Wallace, portfolio holder for environment and strategic housing, said: "Last year many residents saw changes to their collection dates when rounds were restructured to make efficiency savings.
"In some cases, this meant that households saw a change to all of their waste and recycling services.
"This online calendar will mean that a quick search will confirm when residents' bins and boxes need to be put out for collection, and it can be done at any time of the day or night – and at the click of a button."
Cleethorpes resident Helen True welcomed the system.
"I will use the waste collection calendar quite regularly," she said.
"My waste collection days changed recently so it's very useful to have the calendar available to use, free of charge for me and the council, to remind me when to put my boxes out for collection."
