15-year-old boy robbed of his bike

Officers in North East Lincolnshire are appealing for information in connection with a robbery that happened on Bull Ring Lane in Grimsby between 10am and 11am on Sunday, June 24.

Police appeal for information as a 15-year-old boy is robbed of his mountain bike
A 15 year old boy was cycling towards the town centre, when a man who was not known to him, attempted to make conversation with the boy, before grabbing hold of his bike.
As the boy refused to let go of the bicycle the man is alleged to have threatened the boy before taking hold of the bicycle and cycling away on it in the direction of Freshney Place.
The boy did not sustain any injuries in the incident.
The stolen bicycle is described as a black and red coloured Apollo phase mountain bike, with white forks and a dent in the top of the frame.
The offender is described as white male, aged in his late teens and around 5ft 11ins tall. He was wearing a light grey coloured hooded top, with the hood up,and dark coloured bottoms.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have information in connection with the incident to call Humberside Police tel 101 quoting crime reference 1914764.
